Call for Conference Abstracts

The desired proposals will address the theme of creating meaningful higher education ecosystems that promote the development of key competencies required in the future of work and the roles and responsibilities of educational and academic developers in advancing these ecosystems. The abstracts shall align themselves to the conference theme and relate to one or more of the questions posed.

The call shall run up to  October 15, 2023.

Feedback shall be sent by November 30th, 2023. 

This shall be confirmation of the abstract to submit a full paper for presentation, workshop, poster presentation.

Call to host a Pre-Conference Workshops

The Pre-Conference Workshops shall take place on June 4, 2024, at USIU-Africa. The pre-conference is held one day before the conference opens.

Virtual sessions shall also be available.

Pre-conference workshops must address the conference theme. It must feature active participant involvement and outcomes/take-home messages, which participants can apply at their own institutions.

Pre-conference submission requirements:

■    A short biography of the submitter

■    A nomination from the chair/representative of the submitter’s ICED Member Network

■    A descriptive title

■    An abstract (400 words maximum; no images or graphs) outlining the aim and content of the workshop

■    A bibliography (200 words maximum, main sources only)

■    A facilitation plan (200 words maximum; bullet points acceptable)

Deadline for submissions: November 30, 2023

Announcement of acceptance/rejection: January 10, 2024
